Awakening- Sitting In the Back Seat
We used to hate driving my momma around when she sat in the backseat of the car. She used to bark out commands such as, “Slow down!” “You are driving too close to that car!” “Can you see to back the car up?” Even though I was saying in my head, “Ugh Momma!”, my words and actions were “Yes Ma’am!” I thought I was leading because I had the keys to the car. I knew that I could take the car anywhere because I was driving. Unfortunately, I was the pawn in the car and the Queen (who moved multi-directional) sat in the back. Now as I look at it, she was able to see what I couldn’t because I was focused on driving. As you are the driving force in your dream, goal or passion, I want you
to take an opportunity to sit in the back seat. I want you to see what is ahead of you. I want you to see if you need to slow down or speed up. I want you to see the cars (other people) around you. Are they coming into your lane? Do you need to get over into the other lane to let others pass? Can you see to back up? Once you can see the whole picture, you will be able to move forward on your dream, goal, or passion and live your destiny now!
